Africa’s finest, Burna Boy represented Africa with his BET Award win this past Sunday. The BET Awards returned to a live format on Sunday, June 27 at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles.

Burna Boy won the Best International Act category which he was battling with the likes of Wizkid, Headie One, Aya Nakamura and Diamond Platnumz.

This is Burna’s third win in a row in this category following the 2020 and 2019 win.

Bree Runaway scooped the award for Viewer’s Choice: Best International Act category, stealing the shine from Elaine and TEMS who were nominated along with Arlo Parks, MC Drick and Bramsito.

International stars Megan Thee Stallion and DaBaby led the night’s nominations> Thee Stallion walked away the night’s big winner with four awards.
